Nutrition

Bespoke nutrition. Grounded in science. Integrated with your health.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. Mayfair Health works with a team of expert nutrition specialists to offer personalised nutritional support — integrated with the full picture of your health, fitness and clinical care. Whether you want to improve body composition, manage a health condition, enhance performance or build a healthier relationship with food, our nutrition team will build a plan that works for you.

Every programme begins with a comprehensive initial consultation, preceded by a detailed pre-consultation questionnaire and blood profiling. Your assessment covers:
  • Anthropometric history — weight, body composition and goals
  • Biochemical analysis — blood work, blood sugar, nutrient deficiencies and hormonal markers
  • Clinical history — relevant conditions including diabetes, cholesterol, IBS and digestive health
  • Dietary and lifestyle history — eating patterns, exercise, stress and sleep
From this your specialist builds a bespoke plan, then continues to support you through follow-up consultations — monitoring progress and adapting the programme as your goals evolve.

Our nutrition specialists work directly alongside our physiotherapy, osteopathy and clinical teams — so your nutritional support is always aligned with the full picture of your health. Your physiotherapist or clinician can refer you directly to our nutrition team, and your nutrition plan is designed with your clinical goals in mind.

Our nutrition specialists work across a wide range of clinical and performance areas. Whether your needs are straightforward or complex, every programme is built around your individual presentation — not a generic template.

Performance and Sports Nutrition

Optimising what you eat around training and competition — including fuelling strategies, race-day nutrition planning and the prevention and management of Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDS).

Hormonal Health and Women’s Nutrition

Nutritional support across every stage of a woman’s hormonal life — from managing PCOS and restoring menstrual health (including functional hypothalamic amenorrhea), through to perimenopause and menopause, where nutrition plays a significant role in symptom management and long-term health.

Relationship with Food

For those whose eating is shaped by stress, emotion or a more complex history, we offer compassionate, evidence-based support for disordered eating, eating disorder recovery and the habits and patterns that can make food feel difficult.

Metabolic and Cardiometabolic Health

Nutritional management of conditions including type 2 diabetes, elevated cholesterol and chronic kidney disease — working alongside your wider medical team where appropriate.

Digestive Health

Practical, evidence-based dietary management for IBS, constipation and other digestive concerns — addressing symptoms and identifying the dietary triggers contributing to them.

If your concern is not listed above, please get in touch — our team will advise on whether we are able to help and, where appropriate, refer you to the most suitable specialist.
