How we Help
Understanding Sports Injuries
Sports injuries encompass a broad range of conditions, from acute muscle strains and ligament sprains to overuse injuries, tendinopathies, stress fractures, and joint problems. They can occur suddenly through trauma or develop gradually through repetitive loading and training demands. Without accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment, many sports injuries become chronic, recurring, or compensatory, affecting not just the injured area but overall performance and movement quality.
Common conditions we treat include hamstring and calf strains, ACL and ankle ligament injuries, rotator cuff tears, tennis and golfer’s elbow, patellofemoral pain, IT band syndrome, and stress-related bone injuries.
How We Can Help
Our sports injury specialists combine precise clinical assessment with an in-depth understanding of athletic movement and training demands. We assess not just the injury itself but the biomechanical and training factors that contributed to it, because treating the injury without addressing the cause is a recipe for recurrence.
Treatment is progressive and performance-oriented, moving through phases of pain management, tissue rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and sport-specific functional training. We work closely with coaches and medical teams where relevant, and set clear milestones so you always know where you are in your return-to-sport pathway.
We also regularly see athletes who have had previous treatment that did not fully resolve their injury, and pride ourselves on achieving results where earlier management has fallen short.
What to Expect
We recommend starting with a 60-minute assessment covering your injury history, sport and training load, movement analysis, and functional testing. You will leave with a clear diagnosis, a realistic timeline, and a structured rehabilitation plan.
No GP referral needed. Available across all clinics.
