ABOUT Vishal
Vish began his career in the NHS, completing a comprehensive rotational programme that included spinal cord injuries, chronic pain, hypermobility/EDS, musculoskeletal outpatients, intensive care, orthopaedics, and hand therapy. This foundational experience has shaped his holistic and adaptable approach to physiotherapy.
Transitioning into elite sport, Vish has worked with some of the UK’s most respected organisations. He was part of the medical team at Arsenal Football Club, led the medical provision for Middlesex County Cricket Academy while also working as the squad physio for the professional team and served as Head of Physiotherapy at Essex County Cricket. In addition, he served as a consultant for Brentford FC, specialising in spinal injuries and complex return-to-play pathways.
Vish has a particular clinical interest in lumbar spine stress fractures in athletes and is known for his expertise in highly accelerated return-to-play protocols. His approach is rooted in movement control, doing the basics exceptionally well, and applying high-performance strategies to both professional and recreational athletes. He finds great reward in guiding individuals through the final stages of rehabilitation and helping them transition back to elite-level sport with confidence.
A lifelong cricket enthusiast himself, Vishal brings not only clinical excellence but genuine passion and empathy to every patient interaction. He is committed to optimising health, restoring function, and empowering his clients to move better and perform at their best.
